About Team PNT

Former NFL Tight End Jeron Mastrud founded Pacific Neuro Therapy on August 1, 2014. The former 2-time Academic All American, 1st Team All Big XII Tight End and starting Tight End for the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins dealt with numerous injuries and lengthy rehab throughout his career. During his NFL tenure, Jeron was able to experience many different therapies and sports rehab techniques, ultimately deciding to bring the best home to help people his community in Oregon.

At the 2010 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Mastrud was informed that he had many red flags by team doctors and training staffs that would prevent him from being a draft pick. Not only was there still a pin in his ankle from a recent stress fracture, but he had bone on bone joint in his knees, showing early onset arthritis and potential need for a joint replacement by age 35. There were also concerns with his lower back, showing chronic issues in the lumbar spine. Along with that, there was severe lacking of shoulder range of motion from years of pitching and prior shoulder separations (AC joint sprain). Although the dream of being an NFL draft pick didn’t happen, Mastrud took the initiative to show that he wasn’t an injury liability by taking advantage of a variety of programs available to him at the elite level.
